Amber Makes Sewing Tutorial - How to sew a Gift Envelope

To celebrate Rebecca's Birthday we've designed a brand new free pattern for you! Make a fabric gift envelope to put gift cards, cash, or small presents in – for a beautifully wrapped gift. 

Ingredients

  • Main cotton fabric: 11x11in (28x28cm), for the Envelope Outer 
  • Contrast cotton fabric: 11x11in (28x28cm), for the Envelope Lining
  • Press fastener: one pair
  • Small button, optional
  • Matching thread
  • Basic sewing kit

    Finished Size: 3¾x5¼in (approx.)

      Just to say thank you for the free instructions and video for the Gift Envelope, I really appreciate your generosity.
      Also, thank you for the reasonably priced kits which I can afford and purchase without too much guilt.
      The video tutorials are great, without the usual waffle, just straight to the point and they have given me the confidence to have a go, I bought the Duffle Tote for my knitting and if it goes well I plan to get the sewing one. I am very much enjoying the Amber Makes school of sewing and looking forward to the ‘Wrapped in Style Gift Bags’
