The Floral Dance Quilt is a pieced celebration of our favourite flowers all in one stunning quilt. Weve chosen twelve flowers to represent each month of the year then created two blocks for each flower using a variety of patchwork and appliqué skills. Once joined together they form a beautiful year of flowers surrounding a central floral motif. You can then keep the instructions to build up your own floral quilt block library and use them to make smaller items if you prefer.
The Blocks are surrounded by a floral appliqué border and the whole quilt can be made using the Quilt-As-You-Go method so you can quilt each Block as you make it then join them together using this simple technique. Or you can simply piece and quilt all the blocks together. You’ll learn a variety of techniques along the way too. Collect them all to make twenty five Blocks to piece together into your very own Floral Dance Quilt – a true celebration of flowers showcasing your skills.
First time quilter. My friend has brought the block too and we got together today to do some cutting out.
