Milwards Wool Pressing Mat

Using a Pressing Mat will give you crisper, neater seams and a better finish to your stitched project. This is a premium-quality pressing surface which helps your seams to stay open or pressed to one side more reliably. It’s perfect when working patchwork with lots of small seams and ideal for pressing when setting seams into fabric and holding seams into place. The mat is made from dense 100% wool, so it retains both heat and steam and presses both sides of the fabric at the same time making this quicker too. This is an A3 size so you can press a good area of fabric but it’s also portable and easy to store away.

·       Heat resistant and safe as it’s made from naturally fire-resistant 100% wool with a recommended max temperature of around 230°C. Don’t leave your iron on the pressing mat for long periods of time though.
