The pack contains two silver-coloured magnetic snaps which are just perfect for holding the top of a bag or purse closed. They are easily attached to your fabric then the magnets snap together to hold it securely closed.
They’re strong, rust free and have a shiny silver finish. Each Magnetic Snap includes four parts (Male Section, Female Section and two metal Backplates)

HOW TO ATTACH A MAGNETIC SNAP
Magnetic Snaps are most often attached to the lining or inside of a bag or purse before you assemble the item.
1. Place one piece of fabric RS up then place the backplate of the male section of the Magnetic Snap so the central hole is positioned where you want the centre of the Magnetic Snap to be. Draw lines through each of the slots.
2. Cut along these slots - a seam ripper is ideal for this.
3. Cut a 1½x1½in piece of wadding or interfacing and mark and cut slots centrally in it in the same way as you did with the fabric. This will make the Magnetic Snap more secure.
4. Push the prongs of the male section of the Magnetic Snap through the cut slots so the Magnetic Snap sits on the RS of the fabric then push them through the cut-out slots on the wadding square.
5. Place the backplate over the prongs then fold the prongs over and the Magnetic Snap will be neatly attached.
6. Repeat this process to attach the female section of the Magnetic Snap to the other piece of fabric that you want to join together. Make sure you measure carefully so the two sections meet up exactly when the fabric is snapped together.
