This super-sized Block Keeper is perfect for storing any quilt blocks or fabric pieces up to 20x20in. Keep them flat and protected in the fabric pages of this quilted book with three magnetic snaps to keep everything in place and optional handles too for carrying or to hang it up. It features charm squares on the cover and a handy pocket inside to store your instructions or notes. The pages are made from brushed cotton which cling to the fabric blocks to keep them in place.

You can use Charm Squares or any fabrics from your stash that you want to make your Big Quilt Block Keeper and details of what you’ll need and how to cut out the fabrics are included in the instructions.

To make the Big Quilt Block Keeper you will need
(materials not included with instructions)
• Charm Squares – 31 squares 5x5in or fabric cut to this size
• Co-ordinating Cotton Fabric: 25x44in (64x112cm), for Cover Back, Spine Outer, Handles and Tabs
• Lining Fabric: 50x44in (130x112cm), for Cover Lining
• Plain cotton fabric: 20x44in (50x112cm), for the Background
• Binding Fabric: 10x44in (25x112cm)
• Brushed Cotton Fabric: 170x44in (430x112cm) OR a brushed cotton/flannelette sheet is ideal for this
• Wadding: 53x33in (134x84cm)
You can use foam interfacing instead of wadding, depending on how structured you want your finished Cover to be. Vlieseline Style Vil or Bosal In R Form are both ideal for this.
