You can use quilting weight cotton, lightweight canvas, velvet, wools or tweeds for your Robin or choose a variety of textures if you prefer. The Robin is a great opportunity to use up fabrics from your stash, and you don’t need to keep to traditional colours if you want a more fun effect. Small print fabrics would make a very pretty bird and Christmas print fabrics would also work well.
